The evocative church of Santa Maria delle Penitenti houses the Estonian Pavilion with the works of the sculptor Edith Karlson. The sculptures proposed in the exhibition allow us to investigate the multiplicity of human impulses within a sacred place, in which, according to the artist, each man is led to reveal his most sincere nature and to push himself towards a more metaphysical level.
